The game was released in beta on 4 January 2016 in Canada, Hong Kong, Australia, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Iceland, Finland and New Zealand and for iOS platforms. In February 2016 it was released for Android in some countries and was finally released on March 3, 2016 for everyone.

How to play?

Clash Royale is a tower rush video game that confronts players in games with two or four players (1v1 or 2v2) in which the objective is to destroy the enemy towers (if the King’s Tower is destroyed the game ends.  After three minutes, if both players/teams have the same number of crowns or neither, the match continues in an extra time period of 1 minute (more depending on the arena) and the player who destroys an enemy tower, wins instantly. If towers are not destroyed during overtime, there is a tiebreaker, where all towers lose health quickly and the tower is destroyed with the least health

In Clash Royale, players are ranked according to their number of trophies. Players level up by earning Experience (or King Level) points by donating and improving cards.
